Boundaries? New Histories in Art, Architecture and Design (Apr 2011, Bristol UK)

Deadline for submissions: 2011-02-11
27th April 2011, University of Bristol

A one-day postgraduate conference on the theme of ‘Boundaries’ organised by the RX-Research Exchange in the History of Art network.

Boundaries divide and indicate limits; they can be geographic, historical, social or disciplinary. But what happens when those boundaries are crossed? What about the spaces in-between boundaries, what can occur in these liminal spaces?

Further Information and the full CfP is available from: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/arthistory/news/2010/44.html

About Fil Salustri
I'm a design methodologist and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. Adjectives that describe me include: secular humanist, meritocrat, and long-winded. Some people call me a positivist too, as if that were a bad thing. Go figure. My real home page is http://deseng.ryerson.ca/~fil.
