Nantes is one of the largest cities of France, and is noted for its quality of life and its rich programme of cultural and artistic activities throughout the year. In 2013, Nantes Métropole will be the European Green Capital.

The Nantes area is also one of the most important industrial regions of France, with aeronautical and food industries, shipyards, many subcontractors in plastics and composite manufacturing, numerous design and service offices and many research centres belonging to large multinational companies. Most of companies in the region have integrated PLM in different contexts, and have great experience in this field.

The conference venue is La Cité events centre, very close (10 minutes’ walk) from the train station where there is a stop of the airport shuttle.

The weather in Nantes is very pleasant in July, usually not too hot and reasonably sunny.
