The Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold its 1st Annual International Conference on Industrial, Systems and Design Engineering, 24-27 June 2013, Athens, Greece. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and students of all areas of Industrial, Systems, Design Engineering and related subjects. You may participate as panel organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer. For more information visit the conference website http://www.atiner.gr/industrial.htm.
Papers (in English) to be published in a peer reviewed publication are invited to be presented from all areas of Industrial Engineering (systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, ergonomics, safety engineering, industrial design, design engineering, product design and development, management science and operations research, simulation, computer and mathematical programming, case studies, applied arts, theorising processes of design, computer-aided industrial design, materials, information design, history of industrial design, production and planning scheduling, supply chain, ergonomics tool, workplace ergonomic, complex systems, safety management, workplace safety, product development, modeling and planning production systems, tool handing design, etc). Special arrangements will be made with a local luxury hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate.
In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise in the Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a visit to Delphi.
The registration fee is €300 (euro), covering access to all sessions, two lunches, coffee breaks and conference material.

Announcement of the decision is made within 4 weeks after submission, which includes information on registration deadlines and paper submission requirements.

The Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) was established in 1995 as an independent academic association with the mission to become a forum, where academics and researchers – from all over the world – could meet in Athens to exchange ideas on their research and to discuss future developments in their disciplines. Since 1995, ATINER has organized more than 200 international conferences, symposiums and events. It has also published approximately 150 books. Academically, the Institute consists of five Research Divisions and twenty-three Research Units.
