CALL FOR PAPERS for CIVIL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE JOURNAL

Prospective Authors are invited to submit original papers not being considered for publication elsewhere for the two forthcoming special issues discussing:

1.) Facades and Fabrications Special Issue will collect a series of articles exploring Innovative Building Envelope Systems: Merging Innovation with Technology, Sustainability, and Function by addressing energy efficiency, moisture infiltration, aesthetics, and occupant comfort, building envelope elements and component systems enhance design opportunities and minimize potential risk.

2.) Complex Urbanism  Special Issue assembling a series of articles debating an era of rapid evolution in technology, cities and social expectations and the role architecture and urban design play in the development of our cities. What role do a cities urban public and private space play in defining a city? How can a cities infrastructure foster economic development and social progress not just in the developed world, but also in areas that are in need of development?

All paper submissions need to be uploaded directly via the horizon research publishing website and are subjected to an independent and professional “blind peer review” process. High quality conference papers are also acceptable.  Submissions will be reviewed on originality, significance, interest, clarity, relevance, and appropriateness for either of the special issues listed above. Deadline: Sept 30 2013.
