18th Intl ICE Conf on Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (June 2012, Munich)

Location: 18-20 June 2012
Location: Munich, Germany
Conference theme: Innovation by Collaboration and Entrepreneurial Partnerships.
Website:  http://www.ice-conference.org/Home/Call-for-papers.aspx
Full paper submissions: 15 February 2012
Optional abstracts submission: 15 January 2012

Our community, consisting of academics, industrialists, managers, entrepreneurs and politicians, offers a big platform for knowledge transfer, scientific and applied discussions and active networking. Scientific results and practical contributions will be discussed in paper or workshop sessions. Key note speeches offer insights to relevant topics from science to policy to industry. Networking events provide the possibility of launching new projects and ensure a proactive knowledge transfer.

For the first time, the ICE Conference cooperates with associations or notable institutions like:

The ICE Editorial Committee consists of editors and executives of high standard academic journals like:

  • R&D Management (Jeff Butler)
  • Technovation (Dominique Jolly)
  • IEEE Transaction on Engineering Management (Rajiv Sabherwal)
  • Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management (David Bennet)

Traditionally, the conference has two main slots. On the first day, scientific papers will be presented in different sessions, the second and the third day focuses on interactive workshops for prototype presentation, concept testing and open discussions. For the paper sessions, an abstract can be submitted until 15 January 2012 (optional) which offers a first orientation if the topic is suitable for the ICE Conference. The full paper submission must be done until 15 February 2012, at the latest. The workshop proposals should focus on the conference topics, but as they are individually organized sessions it is also possible to suggest further suitable topics.

According to IEEE standards, a double blind reviewing process ensures the academic quality of submissions which can be considered for a special issue with one of the associated journals (more information: www.ice-conference.org or call for papers). All accepted papers will be published in theIEEExplore database and in the ICE Conference Proceedings with an ISBN number.
