MMEP2010: 1st Intl Conf on Modelling and Management of Engineering Processes

The aim of this first international conference is to showcase recent trends in the modelling and management of engineering processes (MMEP), to explore potential synergies between different modelling approaches, to gather and discuss future challenges for the management of engineering processes and to discuss future research areas and topics.

Innovative processes in design and engineering are increasingly important for companies in today’s competitive environment. Academia and industry have a common interest in gaining a more profound understanding of the effectiveness of current processes, of the need to develop better management approaches and of the opportunity to exploit the potential of process modelling for improving business performance.

Conference topics:

  1. Theoretical foundations of MMEP
  2. Experiences from management practice and future challenges
  3. New perspectives on modelling methods, techniques and tools

Important dates:

  • Call for papers: August 2009
  • Submission of 12‐page full paper: 15 January 2010
  • Conference: 19 –20 July 2010
